It can be difficult to be yourself, completely and without fear of judgement or rejection. We lose touch with ourselves; what we need, how we feel, and what we truly value and enjoy. I give a confidential, safe place where you can explore issues, thoughts, feelings and experiences; and in doing so begin to reconnect with, accept and love the person you have grown into.
I work collaboratively with clients. We agree together how we will work and review our work regularly.
I offer online counselling via video call, or if preferred over the telephone. I also offer in-person sessions at Banbury Therapy Group.
If you are looking to work through one specific issue in a limited number of sessions we will establish specific areas to focus on and particular therapeutic tools which I feel could be useful.
I work with clients who experience a variety of concerns and issues. I have particular experience in:
Anxiety
Women's Issues: Menopause, infertility, miscarriage, abortion, PMS, Motherhood etc.
Loneliness
Difficulty creating deep, meaningful relationships
Low Self-Esteem
Low Mood
Stress and Life Changes
Faith Crisis and Religious Trauma
Neurodiversity: Autism and ADHD
Loss and Grief
Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, here is how I begin with my clients.
You can contact me through the form below on this website, via my counselling directory profile (linked below) or by emailing me directly.
I will then contact you and we will arrange a free introductory call to give us to opportunity to see if I am the right counsellor for you.
This can be a video call via Microsoft Teams, or a telephone call.
This is an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you might have and share what you are looking for from counselling. We can explore how I can help and any goals you might have.
At the beginning of our first session we will go through and sign our client agreement.
This helps us to create a safe, boundaried therapeutic relationship.
We will agree on Fees, cancellation policies, confidentiality etc.
I will also ask you to complete a personal details form before our first session.
In our first session, we will explore what has brought you to counselling.
I will ask you some questions about yourself and your relationships.
We will set out what you are looking to achieve and agree on how we can work towards that.
Our therapeutic work will begin.
